Building for the
afterlife of form.

Epektasis is a fictional architecture house studying what happens when ancient proportion meets contemporary life. We make rooms, objects and places that feel inherited from another civilization — yet unmistakably of their time.

A small theory of shelter

We do not imitate antiquity.
We remember it.

Epektasis begins with a simple suspicion: that the past is not behind us. It is embedded in the way a doorway frames a body, the way a column carries weight, the way sunlight edits a wall at four in the afternoon.

Our fictional practice moves between architecture, furniture and spatial objects. Every project searches for a tension between the measured and the irrational — between the discipline of the grid and the freedom of myth.

Three gestures

Less ornament.
More memory.

01

Measure

We borrow the logic of classical proportion without borrowing its costume.

02

Light

Openings are instruments. Shadow becomes material. The day writes on the room.

03

Myth

Every building needs a story strong enough to outlive its first photograph.
